Both the substrates to be bonded are to be made free from impurities including dust, oil, grease etc. and made dry. The leather surface is to be buffed properly. The synthetic surface should be cleaned by acetone or similar solvent. For complete evaporation of solvent, the synthetic surface is kept in the open atmosphere for minimum 5 minutes.
A thin layer of adhesive is to be applied on both the surfaces to be bonded. Both surfaces are to be kept for solvent evaporation for 10 minutes. Second coat on porous surface will produce better result.
The two substrates are then bonded by “stuck-on process” after heat activation (at 70 - 75 degree centigrade for leather, PVC/EVA/PU and at 50 degree centigrade approx. for TPR).
Bonding is to be done immediately after heat activation under uniform pressure when the substrates are hot.
Highly inflammable. Replace lid immediately after partial use. Store in a cool and dry place.
