Method
of
application |
It
is preferable to use the adhesive mixed with crosslinking
agents like YAMADUR H-20 in the ratio of 5% by volume
in order to attain better durability, resistance to heat
and moisture. Treated soles and cleaned upper are to be
coated with mixed adhesive. Around 20 minutes at room
temperature, the coated substrates are to be kept open
for drying. Porous surfaces may require two coats of adhesive.
Due to presence of UV marker in the system, the surfaces
coated with DENDRITE OR 4000 UV MXP mixed with YAMADUR
H-20 show a blue brightness (fluorescence) under UV lamps
which help us to understand the coating. Tackfree adhesive
films on both substrates are to be heat activated at lOce
(approx.) and then pressed together with uniform pressure
while hot. Final peel strength will be achieved after
24 hours. |
| Caution |
Highly inflammable. Replace lid immediately after partial
use. Store in a cool and dry place. Adhesive mixed with
hardener has limited pot life and hence mix only the volume
required, to avoid wastage. |
